In a Vase on Monday - Meghan's Bouquet Style

I really liked Meghan Markle s wedding bouquet, a very simple and at the same time a very sophisticated one, a all white collection of flowers including forget-me-nots, sweet peas, lily of the valley, astilbe, jasmine, astrantia and sprigs of myrtle. It looked like this:

As we also have lovely white astilbe buds and jasmine in bloom in the garden right now, I have thought of creating a similar bouquet for today vase with some beautiful white rose and peony buds and elderflowers.  I ended up with this:

Să faci în orice anotimp și din când în când aranjamente cu flori proaspete, îngrijite de tine, e una dintre bucuriile de a avea o grădină. Noi folosim vase simple, tot felul de borcane, sticle și sticluțe, căni și carafe din tablă sau porțelan, mai vechi sau mai noi, de pe aici sau de pe alte meleaguri. Buchetele sunt mici exerciții de creativitate, (complicat de) simple și aerisite, cât să se vadă bine că fiecare floare contează.

Last week we had some real spring in winter, with warm weather and blooms that we normally admire in late February. I have put some of them in my today vase: snowdrops, helleborus niger and wild little daisies among  spikes of Japanese Quince and ilex blue prince. We simply adore these buttons that by this time every November are in bloom again in the grass.They are fresh and beautiful, in complete contrast with the autumn landscape around where most of the plants and flowers are passing away. I have added a few little violas and some evergreen spikes. And, of course, they deserved a brand new vase which I bought last week.😊.

There are a few colours that we have in our garden only in October and burgundy is one of them. You see it in a few varieties of mums, in sedum and the leaves of Physo­carpus diabolo and hydrangeas.So special!
