For a few years, In a Vase on Monday has been an extraordinary part of my life. Today I am back in business with at least one vase every month, cannot make one every Monday, unfortunately. So, I have snowdrops, nandine and an evergreen whose name I do not know. Enjoy!

In a Vase on Monday - Les Duchesses
Every single year at the beginning of May I have these beauties in a vase on my table. Magnificent, incredible, unique Duchesse de Morny peony flowers.
And some special old variety tulips that we have also brought inside from our old garden.

I arranged this vase yesterday, when it was cold, but it had not snowed yet so that one can see the this mix of beautiful colours, mums and roses together, summer and autumn in the same place at the same time.

In a Vase on Monday - Meghan's Bouquet Style
I really liked Meghan Markle s wedding bouquet, a very simple and at the same time a very sophisticated one, a all white collection of flowers including forget-me-nots, sweet peas, lily of the valley, astilbe, jasmine, astrantia and sprigs of myrtle. It looked like this:

As we also have lovely white astilbe buds and jasmine in bloom in the garden right now, I have thought of creating a similar bouquet for today vase with some beautiful white rose and peony buds and elderflowers. I ended up with this:
