Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day - May 2017

Mid- May comes in many shades of pink, purple, blue and white, our favourite colours in the garden. Most of the tulips are gone, but a few late ones are still filling the space with lovely textures and colours. It is the time of Allium, Anemones and Aquileria, of spring shrubs, Irises, Clematis and Matiolas. Here and there, the blue Phlox and remains of Forget - me - not give a romantic air to the garden. Soon, roses and peonies will explode and the gardener dream will come true. Heaven will soon here on Earth.

Please visit Carol at May Dreams Garden to see what's blooming in April in other gardens from around the world.

The Tuesday View: 16th May 2017

New entries in today view - two containers filled with Lobellia and Euphorbia Diamond, purple balls of Allium Purple sensations that are pumping up in the flower beds, Hosta that is unfurling, white Irises in bloom and Salvia that is showing off  its lovely lavander blue flowers.

Mid-May colours in our garden are simply amazing these days and our favourites, all sorts of shades of pink, purple, blue and white. And, as today is also Bloom Day, I have chosen almost all flowers that are open, that is quite a few Aquilegia, one Allium, two branches of Weigela, two Irises, an Anemone, a Boule de Neige, some Phlox Blue Ridge and even a late, very late tulip.

We simply love this time of the year when, wherever you look, the garden is a combination of  green, purple, pink, blue and a few accents of white.
