Early June in the Garden

Early June is such a fresh mixture of colours, textures and fragrances! At this time of the year the garden is a place where late spring and early summer flowers meet for a short period of time, with white peonies and white roses almost loosing identities and looking the same, with the magic Allium Star of Persia sharing the flower bed with some beautiful blue Salvia and Coral Bells and Love in a Mist competing for the best shapes ever. It is a little bit crowdy, with Red Valeriana, plenty of roses, the first bloom of Honeysuckle, shrubs that are fading and shrubs that are just blooming, Lavender and Astilbe. I just wish we had more time to watch this unique show.

O zi mohorâtă cu clopoței

Ziua e mohorâtă, dar terasa s-a înviorat de la mov-albastrul superb al acestor minunați clopoței dalmațieni, Campanula portenschlagiana ”Dark Royal”, pe care îi cumpărăm în fiecare an pe vremea asta. Le place în frig și tot înfloresc până dă căldura, când îi mutăm în grădină, undeva pe la soare. Celor din imagine le vom găsi anul acesta un loc însorit, undeva pe un zid sau lângă pietre, pentru că am citit că așa le place. Și mai sunt și ”evergreen”! #sfaturidingrădină
