Flower of the Month in My Garden (May 2016) - Peonies

Peonies have dominated the garden in May. Huge and scented flowers have showed their beauty and it seemed that nothing else mattered. I have 4 varieties, Festiva Maxima, Sorbet, Laura Dessert and Big Ben and several posts on this blog are about them, so to celebrate the May flower of the month in my garden I have only chosen one for each type that show how they look today.

Tulips have come in many colours and shapes this April. Continuarea la ”zile cu brândușe”, pentru că au înflorit și movuliile, s-au înmulțit și țigăncușele și au îmbobocit și niște albicioase mai firave.

Flowers of the Month in My Garden (January 2016) - Snowdrops&Hellebores

E o lună cu două flori, pentru că au fost la fel de frumoase, albe amândouă, la fel de gingașe și la fel de rezistente în grădina lui ianuarie. Au trecut împreună peste nopți de minus 20 de grade și au stat sub zăpezi de o jumătate de metru.Le-am văzut boboci și în floare. Le-am pus împreună în aranjamente și vaze. Ghioceii și helleborele, dragele mele./ I have two flowers of the month in January as they are both beautiful, white, strong and delicate  at the same time. They have both got over very frosty nights and heavy snow. I have seen them both with buds and in  bloom and put them together in vases and bouquets. Snowdrops and Hellebores, my love.
