In a Vase on Monday - The Tall Ones in the Rain
As Phlox and Summer Snow have just opened they are very fresh and look well together in a jug I have not used for a very long time. To fill it properly, I added some seed heads of Love in a Mist and a few spikes of other tall ones, the blue Salvia and Achilea Ptarmica. As it has been raining since last night, I had to take the photos between the showers and place the vase in various places to catch the best light.Have a great week!

Lovely pictures - your tall flowers look very happy in your pretty jug!
RăspundețiȘtergereThanks, Cathy!
ȘtergereI love that jug with its garden theme. Your season is about a month ahead of mine, I won't get these beauties for several weeks. It's a preview of coming attractions!
RăspundețiȘtergereI am sure you will enjoy the same garden beauties soon, Eliza!
ȘtergereIt is a pretty and very fresh combination of blooms, Anca! I wish it would rain here - can you send us some of yours?
RăspundețiȘtergereSo glad you like the combination, Kris!I would send you some rain if I could, it is too much already here.
ȘtergereYour jug looks so fresh and informal - thanks for sharing. It's good to have phlox flowering again - mine is just starting to bloom, which I am sure is earlier than usual. Not sure what you call 'Summer Snow' - is it the spikey one?
RăspundețiȘtergereYes, the spikey white one, Physostegia virginiana.
ȘtergereGood morning Anca,

Have a wonderful day.
Marijke
