In a Vase on Monday - Transition
It is the end of May and the garden is ready to welcome summer after a great season of spring flowers. To mark this transition, in my today vase I have combined the last Anemones (De Caen) in the garden and the first Lavender in bloom in a very old glass vase found in a grandmother s shed.Have a great summer, gardeners around the world!

You have Anemones at the end of May! I cannot even imagine that. Ours are gone by March at latest. Best wishes for a wonderful week, Anca!
RăspundețiȘtergereSpring is definitely giving way to summer Anca. The anemones and lavender look so pretty in your grandmother's vase. You must be so pleased to be using it. A happy summer to you too!
RăspundețiȘtergereA lovely welcome to spring's transition, Anca! I love your pretty header photo - it looks like such a sweet, quiet spot.
RăspundețiȘtergereOh yes, with lavender coming into bloom summer must be just around the corner! Love this combination to show the transition of seasons. :)
RăspundețiȘtergereI was thinking it was late for anemones - love the blue ones! I am sure you will miss them now these are the last
