Hippolyta in my Garden

 

It is a warm Sunday morning and I am watching my Hippolyta snowdrops in the garden. It is a double snowdrop, with early, large and perfectly formed flowers, that was named after the queen of amazones.

 

 

End of January in the Garden

 It has been warm and nice these days and working in the garden has been the most pleasant thing to do. Some of the snowdrops are already in bloom (Elwesii, Godfrey Owen and Hypolita) and so are the Hellebores. My spring table is now full of spring flowers that I have planted with so much pleasure.
