End of the Month View – January 2018

We had everything this January: snow, and frost, warm weather and sunny days. This mixture can be seen in the garden which today has a half winter - half spring look, with large spots of snow coexisting with beautiful spring bloom that last year we could only see at the end of February.

In the little woodland corner the snowdrops are opening and crocuses and irises have shown their heads.

Otherwise, hellebore niger keeps on displaying lovely blooms competing in beauty with neighboring snowdrops
