The Old Garden in November

There are a few shrubs that look amazing these days in the old garden - Spirea, garden Asparagus, Euonymus Fortunei ”Emerald n Gold”.

It is amazing how they survive these days, a few blooms that look like coloured candles  rising here and there in the autumn garden.

The Tuesday View: 8th November 2016

The effects of the last week rime can be seen in today view - most of the wild vine leaves have fallen down and the hydrangea has lost its colourful glory. Still a nice and very romantic autumn view.

In a Vase on Monday - The 3 Graces

With their tall and graceful flowers, the white Anemones Hupensis have been lightening the fall garden for about two months now. And look at these last three blooms, they are so delicate! The 3 Graces. / Ultimele anemone japoneze, cele 3 Grații.

Prima brumă

Azi a fost finalul de sezon, cu prima brumă groasă care s-a așezat pe grădină și a înmuiat frunzele și ce mai era înflorit. În această dimineață, pe la 8, când se topea bruma- n soare, iarba părea de argint./ The first rime and a ”silvered” garden.

End of Month View - October 2016

E o toamnă extrem de frumoasă la final de octombrie, iar grădina e un pastel și o paletă de culori./ It is an extremely beautiful autumn and the garden is a palette of colours.

 

The Tuesday View: 1st November 2016

And here we are this Tuesday with a few happenings that have changed the view quite a lot. The wild vine turned yellow and red and many other stunning shades that it displays in autumn. Somewhere in the view a nice burgundy mum has just opened its blooms and the Japanese anemones are more visible now that the peonies leaves are gone.Welcome November!
