Galanthus Elwesii 2017

It seems that this Turkish snowdrop likes our garden very much as it grows  taller and stronger every year. It comes into these two varieties that differ by the green spot on the inner petals:

As described by Gardenia, the white blooms display a double green mark on the inner petals that sometimes merge into one.They rise atop a foliage of broad silver- grey leaves which are reminiscent of those of tulips.

Galanthus Elwesii is a recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society for its outstanding qualities.
