September Roses

It is amazing how much energy the roses have these days, in their last blooming of the year. In our garden they lost most of the leaves, but the colours of the blooms are fresh and the buds are numerous and strong.

Nu ești niciodată singur, nici măcar în grădina ta. Sunt mereu fluturi, albine, tot felul de gângănii, păsări, râme, viermișori, paianjeni, greieri, furnici, veverițe, pisici în trecere, ca să nu mai zic de melci și limacși. Kona și Kira nu se mai pun, cu ele împărțim nu doar grădina, ci și casa./ You are never alone, not even in your own garden. Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day - September 2016

Pozele sunt toate de azi, făcute cu bucurie că, după o săptămână de absență, am găsit o grădină plină de culoare, cu tufele mari de aster care au explodat pur și simplu și trandafirii care sunt la ultima înflorire din acest an. E un mijloc de septembrie cu temperaturi mari și pentru că nu a plouat de ceva timp, multe flori s-au trecut înainte de vreme și o parte din frunze au început să își schimbe culoarea./ After a week away from home, we have found the garden full of colour, with the huge Aster clumps that have simply exploded and the roses that are blooming for the last time this year. It is a mid September with high temperatures and as it has not rained for some time now many flowers died earlier than usual and part of the foliage have already started to change colour.

In a Vase on Monday - Transition

I love the way Hydrangeas look at this time of the year,  huge, round and colourful balls of petals, summer and autumn together in the same flowers, the perfect image of transition from one season to another./ Pur și simplu ador felul în care arată hortensiile în această perioadă din an, niște globuri imense de petale divers colorate, vara și toamna împreună în aceleași flori, imaginea perfectă a tranziției de la un anotimp la altul.

The Tuesday View: 6th September 2016

The lovely white Anemone Hupensis have brought a little bit of elegance to today Tuesday view - 2 clumps that I hope can be noticed on the right of this picture.

 As Aster has just started to bloom, I expect the next week view will be a more spectacular one.

In a Vase on Monday - A Happy Gathering

They have been around almost the whole summer and I thought it would be nice to celebrate them a little bit, before the autumn flowers take over the garden. Little summer beauties, all sorts and colours, a happy gathering. / Au fost prezente în grădină aproape toată vara și m-am gândit că ar fi drăguț să le sărbătoresc un pic, înainte ca florile de toamnă să pună stăpânire pe grădină. Frumuseți mici, de vară, toate felurile și toate culorile, o „adunătură” veselă.
