In a Vase on Monday - transition

Iată-le, într-o vază nouă, cumpărată weekendul trecut dintr-o prăvălioară din cetatea Sighișoarei./ In today vase I have tried to catch that amazing transition pink colour that an autumn garden show off in October for those who have the time and the eyes to see it. Here it is then, on some hortensia Paniculata Limelight and climbing white rose buds that I have put in a new vase bought last weekend in a small shop in the old city of Sighișoara.

  3. What perfect rose buds Anca, and the hydrangea brings out the pink hint perfectly. The light in October is so different, isn't it? Thanks for sharing

  5. So many flowers do fade to that pink magenta color, it looks so gorgeous on the Hydrangea flowers, they look so incredible as they age. The pink looks great on the rose buds too, Anca.

    1. Thank you, Cathy! The transition can be seen in the rose buds, too, as they are pure white and in autumn they get pink.

  12. Such a beautiful collection - the roses go so well with the fading hydrangea - not a combination I have thought to make before but I certainly will in the future!
