In a Vase on Monday - to teachers!

5 octombrie e Ziua Mondială a Educației și vaza de azi e pentru profi, de ziua lor. Nu e cu flori din grădină, ci cu unele culese ieri de pe un câmp din minunata Transilvanie. Erau prea frumoase să nu ți le arăt./ It is World Teachers' Day today and  my vase is for all the teachers I know all over the world. Sorry that I have not used flowers from my garden today and made my vase with wild ones that I picked yesterday from a field in amazing Transylvania, but they are too beautiful not to show them to you. ”To teachers, God bless them, they are top of the class!”

I didn' t know that it was World Teachers' Day today. They do indeed deserve a beautiful tribute like this.

  6. Such lovely wildflowers you were able to find there, Anca! I like the balls of the pink clovers with the dark purple. I am not a formal teacher but do teach my grandchildren music.

  9. Oh how glorious those wildflowers are, Anca - and like Ann said there is no mention in the UK of World Teacher's Day... Thanks for sharing the blooms and reminding us of the hard work put in by often under-rated teachers everywhere
