End of the Month View - January 2017

The garden looks almost the same for some weeks now-covered with snow and ice as if stiffed in a pattern that does not want to change. Hopefully, we  all know that there is a whole spring waiting out there beneath to come to life.

The Tuesday View: 31st January

Outside the garden the world has gone crazy. Here nothing has changes for several weeks already.

In a Vase on Monday - Think Spring

In our garden, the first snowdrops are very small, but strong, the old, common type we have had here for so many years. They make us think spring in a cold winter day, when the world seems to have gone crazy.

In a Vase on Monday - Etain

Etain is not only one of the most beautiful violas (some people say it is their queen!), but one of the most resistant. At this time of the year it is full of buds, so I could sacrifice the only one in bloom for today vase. It has not the specific lavender edge, but it still looks fresh and beautiful.

Here there is a post with Etain, when I bought it.

Garden Bloggers’ Foliage Day – January 2017

It has been quite a while since I last joined Christina at Creating my own garden of the Hesperides, but today I did not want to let it go as a foliage day in January is all about evergreens and their beauty.
