End of Month View - September 2017

This end of September the garden is still fresh and colourful. It is Aster time and little purple and pink stars are shining all over the place. The mums are also opening these days, bringing in wonderful splashes of colour that match so well with the foliage that is slowly turning into autumn shades. The rains we have had recently gave our little garden a kind of freshness that resembles to the one you find in spring. Even the grass is greener than last month! The light is special all day and watching the komorebi (this is the word the Japanese have for when sunlight filters through the trees - the interplay between the light and the leaves) is so relaxing! A few late roses add a touch of elegance to the view. ”A month to remember... that kind of September” .

The Tuesday View: 26th September 2017

Another week, the same view with the beautiful purple Aster clump  in full bloom and more of the pink Anemone Hupensis  ”The Little Red Riding Hood” that have opened these days.

Many thanks to Cathy at Words and Herbs for hosting the Tuesday View and for the idea of posting a photo of the same view of the garden week by week.

In a Vase On Monday - September Pink

There are several shades of pink that I find so beautiful in the September garden and they come with a variety of Aster (no ID, please help!) and Anemone Hupensis - Fantasy Pocahontas and Little Red Hiding Hood.
