In a Vase on Monday - The Tall Ones in the Rain

As Phlox and Summer Snow have just opened they are very fresh and look well together in a jug I have not used for a very long time. To fill it properly, I added some seed heads of Love in a Mist and a few spikes of other tall ones, the blue Salvia and  Achilea Ptarmica. As it has been raining since last night, I had to take the photos between the showers and place the vase in various places to catch the best light.Have a great week!

  2. I love that jug with its garden theme. Your season is about a month ahead of mine, I won't get these beauties for several weeks. It's a preview of coming attractions!

  4. Your jug looks so fresh and informal - thanks for sharing. It's good to have phlox flowering again - mine is just starting to bloom, which I am sure is earlier than usual. Not sure what you call 'Summer Snow' - is it the spikey one?
