In a Vase on Monday: Mid - January Selection

As I knew my agenda would be very busy on the first day of the week, I arranged my vase on Sunday. It was a beautiful sunny winter day, perfect to go outside and make a bouquet enjoying the fresh air and the charm of a garden covered with snow. For my special winter-coated vase, I cut some catkins from our big Hazel tree, a few stems of yellow and red Dogwood,  Photinia compacta and some Nandina berries.

  2. Your arrangement this week inspires me to go search the river edges for catkins - they are so sculptural, and I expect they may force into bloom!
